Palliative care never crossed his mind during our appointment, with heart breaking references that give you no hope to live, no positive hope and remind you of your fragility in your most vulnerable times. We sobbed in the waiting room after the rude, careless and hurtful appointment.
The doctor repeated several times how his international experience has helped him understand how time doesn’t stop. I am sure someone with a lot less “experience” and “studies” would know that.
A shame as the rest of the team has been so supportive and understanding.
