Circumcision is necessary when there are side effects to the penis, such as lack of proper cleansing or drainage of urine, and pain in diuresis or recurrent foreskin infections.

Dr. Camilo Alberto Albornoz Mendoza

Circumcision is the procedure by which the skin is removed from the penis called the foreskin that covers the glans.

Among the benefits it presents are:

- Adequate bony penis.

-Decreased pain in diuresis when the foreskin is very closed and does not allow the exit of the urine.

-Decreased significantly the spread of sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV, syphilis, etc.

When is Circumcision Necessary?

Circumcision is necessary when there are side effects on the penis, such as lack of good cleansing or good drainage of urine, and pain in diuresis or recurrent foreskin infections. The cultural factor is also important to perform this procedure.

It is an effective procedure

There are medical management options, but usually they are not completely effective, so it is finally ended by resorting to foreskin removal surgery as this is the only effective way to reduce the spread of diseases and problems described previously.
